Has anyone heard of any kinds of scams being run on Craigslist now? Check out what I'm concerned with:

I have always thought that they were pretty good at catching scammers.

Wow I'm there! A 70 Boss 302 for 5K! j/k

Obviously something amiss about this, unless it is one of those "My significant other left me so to get back at them I am selling their prize possession for pennies" type of things.

The leather seats thing erks me more than anything else. Seems like 90% of the mustangs for sale say leather seats.

Ahhhhhhhhh.... wasn't it great when the Ford guys were innovators???

Anti-lock brakes all the way back in 1970!
Either that means "The master cylinder leaks like a sieve" or it means "There's so much air in the lines you couldn't lock up the brakes with the car standing still!"

Maybe there is something to what Big B said...... The whole listing might mean "I'll say anything to get you to buy this car before my ex sees this listing!"

I sent an email, but haven't heard back yet, I said that I have cash and am ready to come see it. The thing that caught my eye is the location, there are people in the SF Bay area who are selling these cars, then stealing them back that night or a couple nights later. But this location, if I'm correct, is in a pretty seedy area of the city.

I think that the people are just like the ebay scammers, send me the money and I'll send you a note that you've just gotten the shaft. Or in this case, they'll give you the lead pipe in person.
