Anyone heard about when this is goin to come out. Seems like a mix between a hand held programmer and a g-tech. I'm curious to see how much they are goin to ask for these. On the web site it claims an average gain of 15rwhp and 18 ftlbs of torque for 96-04 gt's with a stock tune. Like the x-cal, custom tunes may be added for modded vehicles. I will definetly buy one of these if the price isn't outragous. Here is the link to the web site.

The way that looks compared to the price/look of current SCT tuners it'll probably be close to $1000

it does not have a wideband built it. it has a connection for you to plug one in.

Livewire is goin to be $570, not a bad deal if you ask me, two hundred more than a hand held tuner with a lot more options, and that hangin on my windshield will look pretty sweet, i can't wait for to get one that way when people get in my car they can look at it and just say what the hell is that.

That'd be because it's not in stock yet (coming in early January, which is < 2 months from now).

What did you say? Sorry I am distracted because I am trying to calculate how much blood/semen I need to sell to be able to afford a LiveWire.

My kid says "PS3" and I am like "no way, six hundred bucks!"

But my fast says "LiveWire" and I am like "yes sir"

The kid has got to go. Liston to your fast.
I recently spent $ on the xcal2, so no chance a Livewire is in my near future (tho I am considering it as a gift for the husband). Not sure whether to do a cai+predator like he planned or see what combo pops up with the livewire...

i read the add...i want good info not generic crap thats dummied down for the masses. From the add it doesn't look like anything more then a Xcal2 with a screen to mount in your window or dash that says look at me. I want someone like Don95vert to chime in and give the info from a tuners perspective. I want to know if this is worth ditching the Xcal 2 and boost/fuel gauges.

Basically its a mix between a hand held tuner and a gtech. It tells you your 1/4 mile & 0-60 times (estimated), your cars estimated hp and torque, air fuel, boost, and timing witht he correct sensors set up, a built in shift light, three different tunes to select from along with an economy tune for best fuel mileage, 3 slots for customizable tunes while retaining the 3 that it comes with, also give u ur normal 15 rwhp gains that u would see from a hand held with all the options of changing your gears, tires size etc. that you get with a hand held, so yea your getting a screen, but it displays real time results, also displays a warning light if something with your car is not running right, displays your tach, and estimated fuel mileage, pretty good upgrade over a hand held tuner if you ask me

That seems like it's SCT's version of the SAFC for turbo cars.

Just so we all know, these SCT tunes do not give you 15 hp stock, I read that a few times undisputed just wanted to get that out there .

That said, I'm excited for this for the A/F input mainly along with the tuner itself. G-tech stuff never really worked too well in the first place but I guess it's a good selling point. Live A/F and other guages as I see fit is fantastic.
