Curious also on the what you did for brackets? bolt the stock fox ones to the seat? I like the look of them. my stock LX seats suck and i have been tempted to get Pricing on getting them redone with new foam and covering but these would probably be cheaper then having a custom seat done.

I ordered one, I am going to mess around with it, the biggest problem I have is with height, im 6'2 and my car doesnt have tilt so I always get screwed with seat options, I may just fashion up some brackets that lower the seat a little more, I dont want to feel like im sitting in a hole but again I dont want to have to lean forward to check the street lights.

i fitted the stock brackets to the new seats its a little a narrower than stock so I slotted the holes that mount the brackets to the car about 3/4 of an inch outwards on each side and it worked fine. You'll want to use the stock bolts that hold the brackets to the stock seats. The bolt heads on the bolts that hold the sliders on the new seats are too tall so it will interfere with moving the seat back and forth. Try also using one or 2 washers in place of the spacers for brackets on the new seat you ll see what I mean when you get them. They cause the seat to be just a little high.

they look good. ive got a friend with a set in his camaro, the passenger seat sits WAY too high IMO but thats probably just a seat track difference in POS camaros. They are pretty comfortable though

How can you guys deal with leather or vinyl seats? I own 4 Capris... one with factory cloth seats, one with APC cloth seats, one with Hunsaker cloth seats and one with factory vinyl seats that burn the crap out of my legs in the summer when I wear shorts!!! I literally had to carry a towel with me in the car just so I could sit on them. I recently purchased a set of cloth seats for it so I don't have this problem anymore. I dunno if you guys that buy vinyl seats are just too cool to wear shorts, but I wear shorts all the time in the summer, so I can't understand why anyone would waste their money on vinyl seats.

Any-hoo... they are nice seats... as long as I you don't have to sit on them.

well it's 2 degree's outside now so I cant vouch for the burning of the legs I do wear shorts in the summer nearly everyday. but I stopped wearing speedo's in my car so I'm guessing this wont be too big of an issue

edit** here's a pic of my seat w/my neice lol

All 3 foxes ive had have had vinyl or leather seats. Never had an overly hot seat issue that I couldnt handle. I wear shorts too no problem. I'll park in the shade if I have to. Also if Im not driving it, its in the garage. Not even close to being a daily.
Kabuki . post pics when you get it in.
