You can't make this type of stuff up. I have never heard of so many different problems on a brand new car. Hope this ends in a favorable situation for you.

FYI, Ford Customer service promised to call me by last Friday and still have not called, 4 days after they said they would.

Oh, and I lost both my traction control and something else, I forget, on the way to work this morning. Lights just popped on...

I see they transferred you to him yesterday, justinakajuice. Were you able to speak to him?

I did speak to him Deysha. He was still waiting for some due outs from Tia. I tried to speed things up by requesting the dealership send the records directly to Tia so she can provide it to him.

Now for some good news...

I just spoke with my dealer and his guy over at Ford. They understood my concerns with this case and offered me a solution to my issues. In approximately three weeks, I should be getting the paperwork that I need to be able to get my replacement vehicle--without having to go through the BBB. Although I had to go above and beyond what should be expected of a customer, Ford is doing the right thing.

Okay. I turned my Lemon into Competition Orange juice. Whoohoo!

/celebration

New gf has a driveshaft vibration from 64-70-ish mph. Whatever. At least the drivetrain is seemingly perfect. I will coordinate the fix with the vinyl roof installation. Not a big deal in my book, I mean, they can replace the driveshaft a hundred times. Doesn't bother me to have that swapped out. I swear I am about done dealing with these bugs though.

Man, I hope I'm just clearing it out for the rest of you guys so you are problem free!

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

It's so disheartening to see you have these issues... My first S550 was issued a VIN and "factory crash tested" before it ever shipped but that is where my trouble stopped. The only complaint I have with my current S550 is a little bit of rear end whine around 50 mph when cold (this was after all the solid suspension bushings so I was asking for this) it's nothing to complain about especially after driving an hour and 2 states away and back to click of 10 second 1/4 mile times

Found a pic of a driveshaft off 90* and just brought it to my service department. They told me that it was off by 90* and they lined it up. The vibration is still there, but the minor issue has been reduced to livable. Currently, it doesn't feel like something that has to be addressed.

Wow this thread is crazing. I feel like I should expect something to blow on my car. Well I only have 1500 miles on it so I guess there's time. Glad to hear you got it worked out.
