new to forum. pics of my car

So I'm new to the mustang forum and recently bought my car a couple months ago. I had never owned a mustang or at that, an American car. But im glad i did buy this car because im extremely satisfied and it has been good to me so far. i am 21 and going to college so i cant really afford to do much to the car.

i bought the car with 54k miles, its at 64k miles right now. black on black leather, lowered, flowmasters, 18" cobra r rims, cobra front.

so i washed my car today and thought i should share the pictures. from what i've seen stangnet.com is a great community and offers a lot to learn about mustangs.

i just noticesd you need some more tire on them rims though lol

black or anthracite FR500's would be effin sick on that car.. im not a big fan of the cobras but if you put more meat on them they would look really really good!

either way dude its a great lookin car

nice gt man! I'm trying to get a cobra spoiler for a good price. so far I've had no luck !

yes your absolutely right! and its about time for me to get some new tires. what would you advice me? i have 245 on those 18" cobras right now..i know that i definitely want to go wider. as of right now I'm looking to see where i can get the best prices for tires and what type of tires and size i should buy. as for the cobra rims i might just keep them

I agree that you need wider tires. I have the same wheels as you do and when I first got them the tire place I bought them at ordered tires that were too small and it looked like crap. I have 265's on my fronts and 285's on my rear and I think it looks pretty good.

if those are replica wheel's (which i assume they are) they are 9 inches wide, and a 275/35/18 would look perfect all the way around.


and BTW i love the 2000 cobra r replica's.

yea I'm considering wingless as well, but i really really don't mind having the stock gt spoiler..lol. And prob would only consider taking it off if i get that cobra spoiler! haha. how long have you had your gt for?

Needs WAY Wider tires with those rims

Also get some 4 inch exhaust tips

yea they are replicas. i will definitely consider the 275, i know it would look bad ass.

i love the cobra r wheels too! they are my favorite. i was browsing through your old threads and man sorry for what happened to your gt! but your cobra is bad ass, i skimmed through the pics and didn't really see what wheels you have for the car but some cobra Rs would look great on it!
