Heres the deal....

I have a 98gt with 373's (blower soon coming), i ditched the stock t-45 and put in a tko2 trans. Now the speedo is off by 10 mph in 5th gears. I had the speedcal on thre t45 and it was dead on, however now with the diff overdrive ratio of the tko2 its off by 10. Is ther anyway to correct this through the speedcal, or a tranny gear? Mainly 5th gear. The oither gears are off by lkike 3 mph b/c the ratios are close, but 5th is off by alot.

Is there a fix for this or am i pretty much stuck with a speedo reading 10mph too slow. I know its putting less miles on the car, lol, but if posible i want it on the money

Thanks for any help guys

how long until you get your blower put on? reason i ask is when you do that you need to get a dynotune, and your speedo can be corrected through the computer at the same time

Nah...pre 99's can be done only through a speedcal or tranny gear. 99-04 gt's can be corrected through the comp.

Blower wont be on till end of summer or even early fall. Not just slapping it on. Going in along with forged shortblock, heads, cams, intake etc etc etc.

I wanna do it once and go all out rather then vent my block with a rod or piston
