Hi Guys, love this site & being on here for a while so I decided to join, My ride is what we call an AU XR8 5.0ltr (2002) model, similar to your 93-94 front dress, not many mods to it yet but very intrested on fabricating & fitting a Eaton M90 from your SC 3.8ltr Mustang as there cheap as chips there, I could get one sent over & had a tinker with it the other thing that I wanted to find out is what would be max boost that they can make & can the be ported/modified for more flow..

any help /comments would be great

cheers

Joe

Interested in pics as well! I have nothing to add constructively on your idea about the supercharger, but I did get confused when I saw another name starting with XR8

Welcome to Stangnet!

Think RWD Taurus, and youll get a somewhat accurate idea of its general shape. I tried finding some pics of one, but I could only find new ones, and 99 models. I dont know how much difference there is so I didnt bother linking those.

I love the Aussie cars though. From Holden to Ford of AU. You guys get some cool cars. The M90 has been done on 5.0 Mustangs here for yrs, and Im not sure its worth the work, but good luck to you.

thanks for the welcome guy's, I'm thinking in taking a different approch to this looking at getting a Windsor carbi manifold something like a Victor junior & fabricating an adaptor plate for the M90 to bolt staright on the top, non intercooled at this stage & as on the SC 3.8ltr mustangs the rear inlet if I spin the m90 upside down will face the direction that I need as long as I can flip the m90 around ??
From factory this is standard on this model GT40 cast heads.....GT40/explorer manifold, 70mm t/b & 75mm maf, non adjustable roller rockers 1.71 ratio & the cam is only 198'' @.50 117 lsa, all I done is a set of, 1' 5/8 long tube extactors going into twin 2' 1/2 with cats to the tail pipe....DIY CAI & my own SCT flash at the moment the last pull on the dyno I got (185rwkw) or 247rwhp not bad for an un-open 5.0ltr & as always I want more the KB unit looks great but I want to see if this can be done on a buget all I'm after is about 6-8psi boost & make around 330rwhp (250rwkw) I think this is very doable......

cheers
