I think it looks O.K
That car needs some time to evolve...
On the other hand, My '04 Screaming Yellow Mach 1 makes that car look like a European sedan....Just doesnt have a MUSCLE look to it (not yet).

They need to do a ducktail on at least one of the special editions. I keep having those chops vyto did running through my head. Ducktail and twin hood scoops and the thing looks like a whole different car.

yeah and again we have the offroad look. Once they start giving it some character traits it will look good. I am still getting used to it because it doesn't quite tickle my fancy yet but i am sure it will

WooHoo!!

Ah, finally the GOOD Red!

The IRS comments seem a little questionable since they already made decisions on the frame so it would support both solid and IRS in a much better way than before, and now we are supposed to believe they are scratching their heads on exactly what that is going to be?

That's one good looking car! And anything less than a supercharged 5.4 3V(for the SVT model) will seem like a step back, IMO.

I love it and love the color. I tell ya, if Ford can't fix the stall problem in my 03 Cobra, I may down grade in hp to one these bad boys until the next Cobra comes out. Very tempting for me. Regardless, it's going to be hard not getting one seeing them on the road come this fall.

does that mean they are doing the same thing with suspension as they did with the current cobras, a cradel that holds the irs and bolts to where the live axel hooks up. thats not a good thing

Ya, I agree the hood is a little boring, but I like the first pic, the comparison between the front end of the 05 and the front of the vert, The 05 looks so mean and means bussiness, like if you were to walk by it too closely it would take a bite out of you love it! I'm a nice girl, but I like mean cars

So you've been for a cruise in this car? Is it GT or V6? Can you offer any impressions?

-- Yes it is much more boxier than I thought, a bit too "brick" shaped.
-- Front looks bigger than the butt (hmmm, designed in cali?)--lots of space for a root blower?
-- Slap on some saleen/roush body parts on your SN95's and it will look just as good
-- Yep the '05 direct-front-view looks awesome, like the low overhangs.
-- Yes it does have that BMW (E36 & earlier) shape
-- Check out those lego-looking side view mirrors !!!

You need a complete side view pic to tell if it's gonna be good looking. Otherwise, you're one lucky person to get a 1st hand preview. Cool.

BTW, Yes, I would agree the Mach 1 looks better

I like the first and second pics, but the angled side view still looks awkward to me. I think it's just that pilar between the window and rear quarter window. Could someone photoshop that out to see how it looks?

The ride was awesome. It had a firm ride, not harsh and it had plenty of get up and go. The center console is kind of big and it felt like me and the driver where cramed into place, very akward e-brake. The seats are comfortable and the headrest is actually usable!! It has a great sound system and the sound of the exhaust was a little mean sounding. It also comes with a short throw shifter from the factory(on the GT anyways).

I would love to have one, this particular car was in the $28k range.
