I am curious as to what to do next. I'm looking for mods in the 2-300 price range being in college and all. I have a ton of options since my car is slightly moded. You can see in my sig that I have about 3 real mods. I kinda dont wanna go gears, cause that will force me to buy a speedcal. Computer chips are kinda pricey after you burn them and all. Headers are a bitch to install so I would end up paying someone to change them since you have to lift the engine. I dont know about pullies, cause Ive had horrible experiences with my car and alternators (my car goes through them quick for no apparent reason even after a $60 electrical diagnosis that shows nothing is wrong). I heard of someone a while back saying that you can buy an intake manifold from a 99+ and directly swap them without matching the ports and still get a 20 or something hp increase. Also Flows are an option. Anything else that I missed? Hints, tips welcome.

I would look into a timing adjuster and a set of pullies. I never had any problem when I had my pullies on.

Re-read the post Cobra--he doesn't want gears.

Thanks guys. I'll prolly get the flows for more sound and HP, then the TA, then maybe the pullies. Im still reluctant to get pullies cause of all the alternator problems and pullies pull a lot more on your alternator. Is there a high ampage alternator for 4.6s? I know the 5.0s have their 140 amp one.

You won't have any problems with the pulleys if you keep the stock sound system. As long as you don't start hooking up 3 million watt amps and 25 speakers, you probably won't even notice the underdriving.
