Congratulate him for winning the NMCA's 1st ever "Street Race" class event.

I heard he barely finished the car the day he left for the race in Florida, now that is dedication. Sounds like the car is a work in progress, and he was just trying to make the race. With the help of a small field, he had enough to win it. Next time out he'll be faster for sure.

Awesome to hear and well deserved.

Also any info on the class and Mikes car? Is it still his Mustang or did he switch to a new chassis? I am not huge into NMCA but I have met Mike a few times at his place and the track, and can say congrats to someone who should have won!

Now if he wants to sell his Real Street motor and such... hehehe!

It is a hatch fox body, one he has had for years. I was at his shop the morning before he left. The car had run a little the night before and he started it for a few minutes when I was there. The thing sounded mean!

Well considering he had know idea how the races were going to be he kicked a$$.

The real street motor or as he refers to it as the "ghetto real street" motor is being used as a back up for him and another guy this year. As for Mike himself, he's an awesome guy and a good racer with more seat time in the NMCA watch for him to become a SERIOUS competitor.
