Really nice low mileage (84 miles ) means it's never been driven sadly 93 R, going for some decent coin. I would love to own one these rare foxes, you just don't see one of these around or even popping up for sale that much anymore, but it's out of my budget . well documented vehicle though to bad it will probally go sit in another collection.

I'm ok with it being kept in a collection. It means once every once in a while, we can still see a brand new example of our favorite vehicles!

Cobra R's had four banger seats!?

If I had the money I would buy one of those 'bubble wrapped' cars and hammer it up and down the street in front of the PO as soon as he turned over the keys. (I really wouldnt do that, but could you imagine the look on his face.)

You lie! It has 88.4 miles!
*retracts bid*

So what is the lawsuit thing about? I am happy to see an example like that sit in a bubble so I can show it to my kids in 30 years exactly how it was built But good grief! $74600 and still hasnt seen the reserve? Nice to see yet another Fox worth 3 times what it was new

Yeah, you can see that car has NEVER seen water before. And no dry rot on the tires too
If I was rich I couldnt buy it Id was and wax it and take off all the plastic and drive it on Sundays and to get togethers. I would ruin the value of it
Sure would enjoy it though

It has those seats because they were the lightest stockers and it was really a race car. That is one of the only cars I would actually leave stock. Very nice, Iam sure he isn't selling it because he wants to.

I would at least take it for a spin every now and then. The price has jumped up them though, I remember maybe about 5 years ago seeing some going in the high 30's and a few in the mid to upper 40's. I was ready to put the house on the line . that R would look so nice in my garage .

Meh????

Not that impressed with the car. I can appreciate the rarity of it and the excellent condition of that one, but that only makes for a nice collector car.

Honestly, if I had HALF of what he was asking for that car, I'd prefer a regular '93 Cobra. Throw a blower on it, some 3.73's, subframes, rear control arms and be done with it.

When so many of our regular Fox bodies have been "enhanced" to the point where they would beat an "R", it has lost some of it's luster for me. I never really considered the '93 Cobra R as blowing the doors off the competition anyway.

But, that's just me....and I don't have half of what's he's asking for it

True, mite want 3.23's if you get that blower.
You must remember the era of the car. By today's standards that R ain't chit! But by a collecters view it's a monster.

4cyl seats, hell ya! They are light as hell. Those cars were bare bone options. I wouldn't spend that much on a fox. It's still just a 200HP fox.

the R's had the same drivetrain as a 93 Cobra, but differences include but are not limited to: strut tower brace, 5 lugs, larger 4-wheel disc brakes, ZERO power options, no ac, no radio, no rear seat, full size spare, among other things.

the idea was that these would be purchased by race teams with a clean canvas to upgrade and modify them into race cars. who cares if it has 4cyl seats, if the car was raced they would be chucked for a single race seat anyway. power options and radios are useless in race cars.

It's all about saving weight

LX seats were considerably lighter than GT seats.
