Nitrous Leak

My zex bottle is leaking at the seam where the valve meets the bottle , can i use any valve or does it have to be zex?
also has any1 had this problem is there a way to fix it(o ring, teflon tape??)
if not where can i get the valve?

I would not use any old valve...as I read your post, it sounds to me like the valve itself is not the problem, but rather, the seal between the outer portion of the valve and the neck of the tank. If this is the case, the valve assembly can be pried out and re-sealed. If there is an industrial air supply shop or a scuba shop in the area, I would take the tank in. The employees there should be certified to fix it. You could do it yourself, though I don't remember what sealant is used. I have encountered this problem in CO2, compressed air and nitrogen tanks through the course of my paintball playing. It is an easy fix, though it is one that needs to be done right.

Its the perfect time to replace the valve with a High flow valve from NOS.

Thats what I did when I bought my Zex kit.

There is an o-ring on the valve. It seals on the bottle. The valve must be removed to replace the oring. It is a simple task that can be done at home. Just remember, the bottle MUST be empty.
