Click from the solenoid? Tap it with wooden hammer handle and check the wiring attached to it.
Could be a ground issue. Coke just makes stuff sticky. Try baking soda and water on the terminal. Is the battery cable broke under the insulation where you can't see?
Did you try tapping the starter with a hammer?
