Driving to work this morning. Turn signals do not light and no markers on instrument panel. Instrument lights also do not come on and brake lights do not come on. Fuses are ok and nice and shiny. Happened all of a sudden. Just bought the car. Any thoughts before I start in on it?

Headlights light ok as do tail lights (but not brake lights).

Thanks,

You need to getr a wiring diagram. But, since I just had this problem I'll try to help out. It could be many diffrent things, but if you think your wiring is good, you'll want to direct your attention to the turn signal switch, and/or the light switch. I found my problem was in the light switch. It has 3 sets of contacts (if I remember correctly) that close as you pull the knob out. In my case I had NO lights except the headlights. You could try to clean contacts but it did me no good. Basicly, you will probly need a new lightswitch. I couldn't wait that long so I "hotwired" it (untill I get the switch in) by making a jumper wire from the "dome light" in the fuse panel to the first contact. Sorry if the message is a little choppy its a complex issue, I'll try to get a pic up to show you.
