My car seems to want to idle at around 800-900 rpm, is this normal??

the idle in neutral should be around 750rpm (if auto in gear 560rpm)

basically the needle should be in the middle of 1 and the 500rpm mark

if its idling high then you might have a leak somewhere

After doing the IAC mod mine will idle at 1000RPM until car is warm. Then I have to sit at an idle for a while, it will finally (after a minute or so) drop to about 400 RPM then go back to normal 750 RPM, Then it will be fine for the rest of my drive.

plus, the stock gauges arent very accurate. switch into digital mode if you really think there may be a problem.

true, mine seems to stay around 900 most of the time. Sometimes it will drop down to like 500 and then back up to 900 or so after i stop
