Nos Really Sucks Aircleaner

i finally decided to hook up a top shpt on my 67 302 p/p heads lunatti voodo full lenght headers holley 600cfm C4 PEG LEG i started out with a 30 shot nuthing big so i decided to go with a 100 shot verey noticable difference 120 1/8m IT SUCKED MY AIR CLEANER DOME LID IN AND TURNED IT INTO A CEAREAL BOWL AND THE AIR CLEANER WENT FROM 3" TO 1 -1/2" any tricks or remedys?

Please post pictures of it! It sucks that it happened, but I'm very interested to see the results of it.

The only time I've ever seen an air cleaner lid sucked into a bowl was when a buddy of mine covered his hoodless engine with plastic over nite, then forgot to remove it the next morning. The engine started, but his new Moroso aluminum air cleaner lid was inside-out. I've seen lots of cars on the bottle and never seen or heard of that happening, so I think something else is wrong besides nitrous use.

I think it was a dirty air filter I replaced it with a k&n now i have to refill my bottle and see what happens​

I have blown a air cleaner lid upward from a lean backfire, but never sucked one in or saw one get sucked in the few years i worked at NOS.
