Well, I have long tube headers and o/r X pipe I want to put in this weekend, the only thing is I forgot to buy the O2 sensor extensions and an EGR delete since my X doesnt have a fitting for it. Should I wait to install until I have those pieces, or will my car run normal without them hooked up?

I have BBK longtubes and I didn't need any extensions. It will run like s!@#t w/out the o2 sensors connected. As for the smog tube take the tube off and plug it off somewhere up top.It won't affect anything. You can get rid of that ole smog pump too

You've got lots of what seem to be mixed up terms in here. The egr has nothing to do with the exhaust system. Exhaust Gas Recirculation takes place totally within the heads/intake/egr valve. The egr system can be fully functional with any type of Xpipe.

Are you referring to the air pump/air injection system? You can simply short-belt the pump if you like. If you have air/p-s, it will take about an 84" belt to bypass the pump. They usually lock up after a short time of not being used.
