This game reminded me alot of the Indy game during the regular season. Just a bad game all around by the offence this time. Actually , neither offence played worth a damn. Jax just had the slightly better of the two. Not really that worried though. I mean, undefeated was not even being metioned around here. Ben was rusty. He really looked bad. But I think he has proven that what you saw tonight was NOT the real Ben. A bad game at a bad time. But better now than in January.Redline_RR said:1st dent in the defending superbowl champion's armor was shown....being they are not un beatable.
Wow, saints have a better record then the steelers
There was a write up in the local paper that I agreed with last Thursday. It basiclly said that every team is vulnerable to one particular type offense with its style of D. Jacksonville has that type of talent to execute their style on Pittsburgh. And guess what, they did. I'm not gonna it here and defend the Stillers on this one. They looked like abso;ute sh !t on offense and the D played well. Too many 3rd down pass plays given up but by that time they were on the field way too long. These two teams match up perfectly and if they played 5 more times, any game could go either way. These two teams played the best game I have ever seen two years ago in Ben's rookie year on Sunday night. It was the most physical game I ever saw. It was great the whole way through. I hope these teams face off in the playoffs. Holy hell would that be a great game.gt40_2003wes said:leftwich had all day in the pocket his o line pass blocked perfect there run blocking was shaky though pitt didnt impress me in pass defense either and there mass blitzing blew up in there face.

Do you really? Because evertime I seen Ben go down I didn't feel bad at all. Man it is going to be a long season, I think I am going to try out for center or cornerback I don't think I can be any worse.Back in Black said:Wurd, Oakland and of course, Cleveland. Not when you have a 3rd overall pick wide receiver who can't catch ecoli in a spinich field. Play calling is horrilble and the defense that was to be the strength of the team giving up 175 yards rushing and 350 passing and can't stop anyone one 3rd down. Man it is going to be a long season, anyone want to buy tickets to see their team play in Cleveland I may just have season tickets for sale.Redline_RR said:I thought that when Cornell went there things word turn around.
