My Off-Road X-PIPE with Flowmaster40's

Nice rumble and open sound. A little raspy while inside the car, but it sounds different inside than outside or behind. The sound and the vid aren't matching up for some reason, but the grass was moving when I revved it.

Loud as hell....Don't know if I'll keep it this way for long.

It does sound awesome though...and livable if I just stay off that gas pedal, haha.

X pipe sound was not for me

This weekend I installed Brenspeed MAC off Road X pipe (3 piece stainless)with the Ford Racing Axle back(the non legal in CA type). I DID NOT like the sound under acceleration! I immediatly re installed the stock muffler just to see if the RASPYness would go away but it didn't. So I reinstalled the stock H pipe and the Ford Racing Mufflers and I am now happy with how it sounds. I was trying to get the sound of my Old 5.0 but not even close...X pipe for sale now, along with the MIL illiminaters...x pipe has under 20 miles on it...

I want to possibly keep the o/r H, but I might be willing to swap the LMs for some kind of non-stock muffler, perhaps a set of flowmasters or something.

BrenSpeed Pypes O/R H-pipe installed - WoW

I had a Pypes O/R H-pipe installed Friday pm, and WoW!!!!

It's loud with the Borla/Ford Stingers, but real deep. What you hear on U-Tube is no where near to what you really get in sound from a combo like this.

Driving impressions: It's quite (sorta of) just driving. However, if you get in to it it's awesome. The video/sound clips on BrenSpeed's site are good, but it so much better in person. Btw - gas mileage on the interstate ranging from 55-70 mph was 26.2

I cruised from Lakeland over to Largo area on I4. On the interstate I was behind a 2006 Mustang V6 with a backseat passenger. I went to pass them, down shifting from 5th to third. The backseat passenger wipped around to see what was coming, and I was 5 car lengths behind them

Once off the interstate I was crusing along at 40mph or so and a late model Dodge Ram R/T with nice rims and exhaust pulled in behind me then when I turn off he stuck his left hand out the window and came me a big thumbs up. Wow, a Dodge dude giving a thumbs up. Oh, there's a definite increase in torque and hp.

Love that o/r h-pipe

The Flows & O/R H combo is a leathal one. I get stares and thumbs up almost every day. It's so enjoyable I find reasons just to go out and drive at any hour it seems like...

I have fun driving past these weed eater sounding ricers!!!!!

O/R H-pipe

I just installed the pypes O/R H-pipe with stock manifolds and mufflers. The pipes fit, look and sound AWESOME except for one small problem. The hangers on the new pipes slide all the way into the hanger brackets, which are metal sleeves with rubber grommets. This has created a situation where I have metal on metal since the pipe hanger pretty much bends at a 90 degree angle. If the hangers didn't slide all the way in then it wouldn't be a problem. Did I do something wrong? Everything looks good and I don't have any leaks but I get a horrific vibration, mostly at idle. My car is an 07 convertible with a stick, I don't know if any of that makes a difference in the location of the stock hangers. Thanks.

h/x pipe

I picked up the pypes x pipe and will be putting it on soon. I got a pretty good deal on it but I am concerned it may sound too raspy. I will be running either the stock axle back or violators. If I don't like how it sounds I think I am going with an H pipe setup. What is everyone's opinion on how a catted Mac Pro Chamber sounds like on a mostly stock car?
