The Mach 1 Registry and Mustang Racing Technologies (MRT) are planning a "Powered by Ford" performance driving event at Nelson Ledges race track in conjunction with this year's MCA Grand National show in Youngstown, OH, over Labor Day Weekend. The date is FRIDAY, Sept. 2, 2005.

The basic format is a lapping event so that people will have a safe and enjoyable experience on track. Drivers would be grouped according to their level of experience and comfort (beginner to advanced). We are also selling parade laps for the beginners at a reduced cost and slower speeds. Instructors will be available too.

The cost is $135/driver for the entire day or $75 for a 20-min parade lap session. We need 45 participants for this event to be financially viable.

Because of limited response, this event has been canceled.

This track operators policy requires that we commit the full rental payment within 45 days of the event, otherwise a cancellation would not be accepted.
