I have had the airbag light on in my car for about the last 2 and a half months. It usually comes on about 15 - 30 seconds after I start the car. I changed the oil in the car last night and now it is not coming on at all. I have only driven it maybe 10 or so miles today, but it is still off. Is there any explaination for this or is it just coincidence? Any guesses as to whether is will stay off or not? I need to get my car inspected and I have been holding off on getting it done because it won't pass with the airbag light on, but now that it is off, should I just take it for inspection and hope it remains off?
