Be careful...my dad went to WalMart and picked up a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1. He took his Vette to a shop near his house to have the oil changed. When the mechanic went to put the new oil in, the jug was full of water mixed with a little oil. They drained the little that was in the car replaced it with a new jug. The mechanic said that the silver seal on the top was not there so someone took the oil and replaced it with water then brought it back. Make sure you have a seal on your oil can if you buy it from a retail store.

With the high cost of Mobil 1,I could unfortunately see an idiot buying it,using the oil, refilling the jug with water and trying to return it for a refund.

F`n people suck.

Talk about wine taste and beer income... they are so cheap as to "steel" $20 but yet they want synthetic. They probally did that to feel "smart". Oh well, good it was caught.

WOW im glad we get ours direct from Mobil. You know it sucks that their are people out there that will do stuff like that. I just had the oil changed on my wife's LHS yesterday and used Mobil 1.

lol, at grease monkey when no-one was there, we'd have "mobil one fights" where we'd fling our finest synthetic oil in complete disregard.

why... cause we could. and thats also the reason the oil on my mustang got changed every 500 miles for about 6 months lol.

god i miss that place
