Always valvoline. Filters vary, but I have NEVER had an issue with the fomoco ones or the Fram. Regardless of what everyone else has negative to say about them.
Amsoil oil & filters
Ea Air Filters
AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are the most efficient filters available to the car/light truck market. Ea Air Filters’ synthetic nanofiber media removes 5 times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than wet gauze filter media. AMSOIL Ea Air Filters have a service life of 100,000 miles or four years, whichever comes first.
AMSOIL Ea Air Filters hold up to two and a half times more contaminants than cellulose air filters and allow over twice the air-flow of filters that use cellulose.
Ea Oil Filters
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have the best efficiency rating in the industry.
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have significantly lower restriction than conventional cellulose media filters. EaO Filters also have a far greater capacity than competing filter lines. When used in conjunction with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils in normal service, EaO Filters are guaranteed to remain effective for 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

Extra Virgin Olive and Marlboro
It's sad, but I currently have no tools or work area, so I use Jiffy Lube...

all that last statement about amsoil oil filters says is that it lets more oil pass through it(which could mean less restriction-less filtering, and it has more volume...so you have a physically larger filter...
i use wal mart super tech 10-30 and their cheap filters, in a new motor i would run a high quality 30wt for the first 500 miles then change to a 10-30 synthetic..with whatever brand of filter so long as its not FRAM, cut open a fram filter then cut open a more expensive one and you'll see the difference, even wal mart is better...i cant buy wix locally either

Motorcraft, Mobil 1 oil and Motorcraft oil filters.
Fram is for idiots IMOP, why buy junk when you can buy factory stuff for the same coin.

Gettin love for the fram... I have never had a problem with it... what could possibly be getting into your engines that you need the best filter in the world????

If the fram gets condensation in it, the paper filter breaks down and the paper gets into your engine for one I have had it happen, meh.

Why would someone make a thread like this, not to mention it's been covered 5.2 million times. You get 200 different answers and they all think they're right. Too funny.
