The PVC removes excessive gassses from the crankcase and puts them into the upper intake to get reburned.

The Tube at the filler neck also send gases formed under the valve cover and puts them back into the intake to get burned.
The gases do contain traces of oil in it so they will deposit on the walls of the intake over time.

Thats how your getting the oil in the upper intake.

Normal.

Now too much oil (goops of it)could mean that you have bad piston rings causing too much much "blow by" into the crankcase and then having the pvc to suck more oil into the intake.

Try changing to a thicker oil as a tempoary fix.

10holelx is right. Also, aftermarket intakes will force more oil up there. I noticed you have a TFS intake. Don't know much about that, but the Ford GT-40 is known to make this problem worse. Of the three Mustangs we have, the two with the stock intake and regular oil never need oil added. However, the one with the GT-40 and synthetic oil needs to have oil added almost every 1,000 miles.

I tried one method of reducing this and have found some success. You can remove the vacuum line that goes from the oil neck on the valve cover to the throttle body. Plug them and run a breather.
