i got under my car today and noticed that it looks like its leaking oil... the cars been sitting for like 3 says and there is a very small amount of oil on the ground.. mayb the size of a pancake.. lol.. Its wet of oil under the oil filter... but the oil filter is dry, and yes there is only one gasket on it.... i thinking it may be the oil pan gasket.. and its running over that way because one side of the pan is also alittle oily..... any ideas where else it could be comming from?

I change my drain plugs often and if the car has a gasket or seal on the drain plug I also change that. Very possible it's just the pans gasket really. May even be leaking from valve covers and running down. I say change plug and gasket and keep it under check, other than that drive it like you stole it! Also forgot to mention, make sure to apply a thin layer of oil to the seal of the oil filter before installing it.

Good list to check into. I would also check the keyway area around the crank pulley as you have Steeda Pulleys - maybe there isn't enough rtv in the keyway?
