i am wanting to know what the plug that is in the side of my oil pan (not the drain plug). i has a rubber fitting on it. is this my oil pressure gauge line?
No, its the sending unit that tells you when your oil level is a little low. It usually lights the warning light on the dash when your oil is about a quart low.
ok thanks. i am in the process of doing a 351 swap and was trying to figure out if i needed to drill out my new pan and install it. but if thats all it is im ot gonna do it.
