Im putting together a mustang (88 GT) and I purchesed a older engine what do I need to chang to get it in there is it just the oil pan or do I need a new pick up also and pump?
yeah im doing the complete opposite you have to change the pick up tube and change from front sump to rear sump, its to bad you didnt live anywhere near me because I would of just gave you a new oil pan and rear pickup tube lol... I think I paid like $15 for a pick up tube and oil pans are fairly cheap
How much older? Was it a complete engine? What other parts came with it? More than just the oil pan and pickup are different between a roller 5.0 and an earlier 302.
