OIL PRESSURE PROBLEM???

Well I got in my car yesterday and at idle my oil pressure is zero...when I rev the motor it will rise to regular operating range yet again when I let off it goes back to zero. Even more strangley 5 minutes later when the car was warm the oil pressure was perfectly fine. I thought it was just a fluke until the same thing happened this morning. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be??

put in a new sending unit and spray some brake cleaner down in the hole it screws into , might be gunked up , its a tiny hole doesnt take alot of sludge to plug it up , same thing happened to my explorer , once the oil gets warm it thins out some and goes through the gunk thats why when it warms up its working fine , use about half a can a break cleaner clean out the sending unit hole real good and put a new sending unit on it , probably be fine .
