What type of oil do you use in your GT? Conventional or Synthetic and how long do you go between changes with ordinary driving habits?

Mobil 1 Synthetic and I change probably around 5000 miles. Synthetic last for awhile under normal conditions...so I've been told. But with the s/c I'll change it more often. Oh and I use 5w 30.

mobil 1 i only have 5000 miles on my car. i bought it with 2200 and they changed the oil, then i changed it at 4900 and i plan on changing it again at like 6000 miles. i dont drive it that much so its more of a time thing than a milage schedule

I use Quaker State Synthetic Blend for high horsepower engines. Seems to work very well. I change it every 3000 miles.

Motorcraft 5w20 Synth Blend, every 3000 miles. First change at 500, then 3000, and I just did the 6K change. I'll switch to Mobil1 if they every come out with a 5w20.

In the past I have been using conventional 5w-30 with the Motorcraft filter from Ford. I religiously change it every 3 months or 2500-3000 kilomerters, yeah, kilometers that's not even 2000 miles....I wouldn'
t have it any other way regardless of what type I would use. Alot of people swear by synthetic and I was wondering if the extra cost for it is worth it. In my situation, since I change at such low miles I don't think the substantial price of synthetic is worth it to me.

Is that the synthetic version? cuz if it is don't they say you can run it for 5-7,000 miles before next change?
