I'm at 11k miles and still using Motorcraft oil and filter. I am happy with it. Herd that the Motorcraft oil is made by Valvoline and truth to that?

I don't know if there's any truth, about Motorcraft oil being made by Valvoline, or not..This much I do know, it's not a full synthetic oil..It's a blend of synthetic and conventional motor oil, where on the other hand, Motoroils, such as Mobil 1 and Royal Purple, are full synthetic, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe that a full synthetic, from Valvoline is also available, but most recommend, either Royal Purple or Mobil 1 as being the best choices..Personally, I highly recommend Mobil 1...

Thanks for the info. I just cant bring myself to put Mobil 1 in my baby because I was a mechanic many moons ago and went to a oil class that lasted 2 weeks. We actually broke down some oils and talked about them. Mobil1 (like I said many moons ago) was one of the worst oils and Valvoline was the best we had that day. These also were not syn blends or full synthetics, so I know things have changed but I still remember what I saw too. Again thanks for the info though.:SNSign:
