I need to run a compression test and I was wondering if I could use the old head gasket that I just took off with the head? It is a lock-wire head gasket.
It should be fine if you use a little of that gasket glue to make it seal a little bit better. I think it's called gaskasinch, it comes in a little can. You can find it at any auto parts store.
