Friday the 17th I was headed out to Newberg around 6:30 and had an encounter with a 2008 Super Duty truck. Mustang won, it didn’t survive but it saved my life, I spent some time in OHSU Trauma center but walked out the next day. Ford truck flipped 3 times and took out a power pole about 4 feet off the ground. Guy driving truck ran stop sign at least 80 and ran over the front on my Mustang and he took flight, looked like an R/C truck flipping into the field. He said he was chasing a car that ran over his chickens, costly choice for him. He got 3 tickets two of them crimes that he has to go to court on, reckless, endangering and I don’t remember. State accident team came in Monday and did second scene investigation, Marion Co did first one at the time. I am looking for a replacement if anybody knows of anything similar.

Glenn

Glad to know that you came out ok. Sorry to hear about the Stang, at least there are others out there to pick and choose from. That truck look like it's been through a minefield.

WOW that does suck. I think i seen this on the news? Man just think of all the chickens he could of bought with the cost of all the damange he caused. But also it's good to know his chickens are worth more then his and someone elses (yours unfortunitly) lifes It's probably a good thing he went over you and not threw you! Theres a nice turbo coupe on C/L right now guy sounds like he really needs to sell it!Hope your doing good. peace

Is the turbo coupe a dark green? If so then that thing has been on CL forever. IIRC it doesn't list what manual trans is in it and I don't think it even runs well. If needs a chip or tune to get it going. Asking price is tooooo high but a nice car anyway.

Wow, that f***ed that super duty up. Do you have any pics of the truck?: ) I have had two superdutys and they do some damage. I rearended an old lady at about 45mph and my bumber was hitting her headrest. I would have drove the truck home if it didnt distroy my trans cooler. I'm still driving the same truck today.

Wow! glad to see you're ok.

If the engine is still good, I may be yanking the motor and tranny out of my white one and selling the shell if you're interested. Putting that motor in my much nicer maroon one soon.

Lemme know

Seven weeks after the wreck. End of the line for the Mustang. Managed to keep almost all of the rear Griggs stuff, panhard bar was not hurt but I had to cut the car away to get it off because it was welded in, torque arm is ok, the subframe connector on the right side got bent and twisted the crossmember the arm mounts to. The engine and trans are fine, I am going to keep the engine and sell the stick setup. I left the front stuff alone except for the calipers and rotors.
I picked up another one 1989 AOD from the original owner, I got the window sticker and all the sales promo with it. Here we go again, I am just going to start with rear arms and a set of Koni struts and shocks and see how I like it, then a 4R70W with a controller and I will stop there…..
