I have a question... from your pics the mesh screen almost looks invisible.... but do you think it's enough to help deter debris from damaging the condenser fins?
Also, how sturdy is the mesh screen? Could someone punch through and pop the hood latch?

It isn't flimsy. And does a fine job of protecting. If you look at the side angle pics you can see it is pretty thick. The photography makes it look more transparent than it is. I guess if someone wanted to they could punch it hard enough to dislodge it from the grill. They would need to cut it if they wanted to get through it.
bwkelley76, did you have to remove the bumper to install the lower grille piece? I read the instructions and it calls to be screwed in. If I remove the underneath air panel, will I have enough clearance to install the lower grille without removing the whole front bumper assembly?
