Where's everyone getting their music from online?? I been a member on Rhapsody for a year now and getting tired of the B.S. trying to load my Sandisk player..They just did an upgrade and screwed up everything all over again..
I was paying 15.99 a month for unlimited everything..Tons of albums but to much of a hassle..

Thanks...

I use MP3 Rocket. I paid (I think) $35 for a "lifetime" membership. I download song by song. I havent tried any whole albums. They have had everything I've looked for. I like it pretty well.

I use Ares. It's free. Just make sure after you download something, right click it and click "unshare".

I have used limewire, but not alot...I dont like how its basicly spyware and I un-install/ scan my computer after use...and that is a HUGE hassle. I dont think I will use it again.

I got the wife one of the new sandisk expandable MP3 players for xmas and it has a "trial" membership to rhapsody...just from what I have read about it I dont think I am even going to tell her abou it...esp. since we already have a good chunck of music on the computer. I might play around with it though...

MP3 rocket, have not heard of that will deff. check it out . I REALLY like the idea of a "lifetime" membership that is not too bad. 15$+ a mo sub. is a cd or two in whole and the wife and I already have 200+ cd's.

I use limewire and transfer the files to I-tunes. Completely free and no problems to date.

If you want to use Limewire without the ads get it from http://www.info.com.ph/~cyberray/ . It has the "Pro" version for free

Thanks guys...I'll check the sites out...

Rhapsody had a free offer with my player so I just went with it...They have over a million albums at your beck and call so thats sweet......worse is you have to resychronize the player every 30 days to re-set the licence's on the songs..every month it craps out and a message comes up killing the player until you re-jive all the songs again...what a P.I.T.A. that is..

I don't mind paying as usually those sites download super quick....Its re-syncing the songs every month that blows.. Is MP3 rocket like that??

I use alltunes, its pay by each song, but its only like $.25/song, and once you buy it you own it, no relicensing.

Man I miss the days of morpheus, you could find ANYTHING, and even higher quality stuff.

I dont like torrent programs at all, could never understand how they work

With MP3Rocket, the download speeds vary. Usually pretty fast, though. I have been able to find almost everything I've looked for. You DL it, you own it. No licensing crap. My daughter downloads stuff from the comp to her ipod. Works great.

What BT agent are you using?

As for me I use Limewore for single songs, and Bit Torrents for movies, whole albums, etc.

Limewire Pro $18 one time fee. No ad's and its supper fast. If you want quality sound then be picky when you set it up (bitrate, etc.). I've had it for a few years and I love it.
