Saw it last night...

They (the guys from dream car garage & sports car revolution) took a couple million worth of old musclecars and ran the crap out of em... it was GREAT!!!

Some of the contestants were:
LS6 Chevelle
Boss 429 stang
Judge GTO
Hurst Olds 455
GS stage 1 Buick ragtop
Hemi Challenger
390 AMX
etc...

They did slalom, drag strip, braking and burnout contest
They ran them JUST AS they were driven on the street. Didnt unhook sway bars, didnt bump timing, didnt change air pressure or tires, etc... just like they would be actually driven.

Some suprising results... and to paraphrase Paul Klutz (i think thats how he spells it) "anybody who says a boss 429 doesnt run, is full of s***."

Nothing like watching them take cars worth 6 figures, start out in 2nd gear, turn em 5500 rpm and sidestep the clutch. Talk about a smoke show.

DD

PS... just in case you dont have speed, all the heavy hitters were in the high 13s on period correct bias plys.
With the 429 and ls6 running like 13.6/7
