Paul...I'm disappointed to see this coming from you.

Not the content of your post because I agree with it 100% and feel it is important...

...but the fact I am sick and tired of seeing all this Off-Topic crap being posted in the 94-95 Tech Section every freakin day. I"ve been on this board almost 5 years and I find myself visiting it less everyday because I'm tired of seeing posts like this: "OT - Look what my girlfriend's brother said about Mustangs".

THIS IS A TECH SECTION...please leave the OT stuff to the Lounge areas. It really dilutes the validity of this forum IMO.

Honestly, I think whoever the moderators are need to start locking some of it and start doing there jobs.

Sorry if I sound a little bitter...but I hate to see a comfortable car board I've been going to for years start to turn to crap...when we now have more members and interest than ever.

Jeremy, while I share your thoughts on SOME of the OT stuff that shouldn't be here, such as "OT - Look what my girlfriend's brother said about Mustangs" and such, I feel other things ARE warrented here. Honestly, I've been coming less and less frequently just because the post topics haven't really interested me much lately, maybe its just the end of the season winding down. HOWEVER, a topic and link such as I provided I think carries more relavance than some of those posted here. All I can say is this... if you don't want to read it, don't open it. I use the "highlight" feature all the time where you can put your curser over the thread and get a brief description, and it helps to sort through what is interesting to me and what isn't. Maybe I should have put this in the lounge, but I wanted to share it with THE GUYS HERE. I don't spend a lot of time in the lounge and such, I spend it here and THIS is the place I decided to share it with my 94-95 "buddies." Sorry if you don't like it.

Haven't you ever had a BS session with a bunch of buddies and you've found yourself tuning it out for a few minutes because they started talking about something uninteresting?

Same idea.....

i agree with you, most people post OT things here because they feel more comfortable because alot of 94/95 guys like me post mostly in this forum because of our unique cars.

Thanks for the post Paul, every American needs to reminded of this whereever, whenever, and however. As far as I'm concerned they can show this video at my funeral as a reminder to all there. Not too mention, you specified that this was OT in the title, so no one had to check it out if they didnt want too.

I sort of agree, OT stuff should be left in the lounge. This section should only be for tech/discussion of the 94/95 models.

Maybe Vib can have another push at creating a 94/95 talk section?! I really don't like posting in the lounge....

Vib, if you see this...

Is there a possibility that if we start a thread and find out if enough people support the idea of a "94/95 talk section" that you could submit it to the "higher-ups" attention and see what happens?

Rob would have to be the thread starter. He always makes the best survey-type threads.

I do agree. Thank GOD Bush is back.

You are guys are killing me with this OT stuff....94/95 does not have a lounge, so why not post here?

If you dont like OT things...FINE dont click on it. Get over it. Quit whining about it like its doing more than taking up a single line on the screen.

And there has not been a lot of tech lately....so if there is no tech, why not post something to make time pass? I could see if u had to choose between his post and a tech post....but u dont. So quit your whining fellaz...

Ok, what seems to be the problem? Everyone is getting annoyed with everything nowadays. Some people can't ask about gears, exhaust or how fast will their car would be if they had something. Everything seems to annoy older folks on here(excluding some and you know who you are) If that's annoying and so is off topic thread, then what can people who don't have a stroker or h/c/i combo on their car ask? I'm having a problem with my car and I have only received 3 replies. It's just sad to see that people who know more than others get annoyed with simple questions not just OT threads.

PS, I didn't even get to see the vid, computer must suck, but I just had to say something.

All I'm saying is read the top:

5.0 Mustang TECH --> 94-95 Specific

If it's not tech...I don't think it belongs in here.

Paul...I don't disagree with your post...very good points and it has a very high level of merit.

Like I said...there is a lounge for topics not realted to tech...post there. I come to the board for TECH. I don't think I"ve ever posted one post in the lounge, and that's my choice. So...when I come to the tech section, I don't like to skip off all of the non-tech BS.

Like I said, moderators should have a say in this IMO.

Maybe I'm whining...but I just sensed a problem getting worse and thought I"d say something. Wasn't trying to pick on Paul...he was just the straw that broke the camel's back I guess.

Get over it 94dreamGT. Most of us have no problem with something like that posted in the tech section. I understand where your coming from, but lighten up.
You said your tired of all the "non-tech bs". This may be non-tech, but it's NOT bs.
