Actually I used to own a sister car to your Escort wagon; a 1994 Mercury Tracer. It was Calypso Green with a tan interior. I think I received more compliments on that car due to the exterior color than I've ever received from all the Saleens, Mustang GT's, SVT's & other vintage Fords I've owned over the years combined (OK, maybe that's stretching it a bit, but it was a lot).

That Tracer was one of the most fun cars to drive even though it only had 91HP or something like that. Combined with the 5-speed manual it was a hoot to throw around corners & just wind it out.

As the old saw goes; "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow."

Considering today's fuel prices, I wish I still owned that peppy little car...
