I was driving my 98' Cobra on a hot day and the overheating light came on when I was driving, it started to run really bad so I shut the car off and got it towed. Antifreeze came up out of the top of the tank. I don't know if there is a leak or what but the car starts and runs and idles fine, but when I turn on the air conditioning on the car chokes and dies then the overheating light comes on. Any help guys?, Thanks.

Have you (or any shops) tinkered around the cooling system recently?

If so, it could have an air pocket inside and may need to be refilled properly and/or burped. Always refill the 4v cobra engines via the coolant crossover tube plug (1/4" ratchet end), located right by the alternator...

I don't think he'd get such a bad reaction from some air unless it was a ****load of air.

Check your belt, is it sloppy and loose?
Any crazy noise from the water pump?

Without the ac on, if you hold the engine at say, 2000 rpm does it shoot up like crazy?

If it does probably head gasket.
