overheating and excessive water leaking from exhaust

Just trying to get some experinced help. I have 1990 LX Mustang with a H.O. 302 its started overheating and excessive water leaking from the right exhaust. Would the the problem be a blown head gasket , cracked head or a bigger problem. Also I'm trying to build it up on the cheap side which would be the best to go with on a 302? 289 heads or 351 heads thanks

Yep blown head gasket probably perhaps even now a warpped head. 351w head from 1969 would be a great head.

Could be something as simple as a blown intake gasket or something as serious as a cracked block. A teardown is in order.

It will be really hard to tell till you actually tear it down. Chances are its just a blown head gasket which I find to be common at about 150k on the 5.0s.
