Ok, well this Easter (spring I guess) break (last day of school April 7th), Im going to prep my car for paint. Im going to take care of any minor rust spots, any dents etc. I want to remove all the trim (except body moldings), sideview mirrors, cowl vent, the headlights and tailights, and finally any badges. I pretty much have a basic idea of how I want to hand my car in. Im going with a Pro 3 Ed Steig (whomever that guy from NYC when to, with the red GT Vert, sry man I can remeber your name!). So here's my question:

The door trim doesnt seem to difficult, its the windshield and back window trim that Im afraid to touch. Is it easy as gently prying on it, or will that destroy it? What tools/procedure would make it easier? and pictures of what the window looks like w/o the trim? Im looking to take all the trim off, and paint it the stock trim color (spray paint from 50Resto.com)

Thanks alot guys!

If you have never removed the trim, drop by a bodyshop, they will pop it off in short order without damaging it.

Its cosmetic only, so no worries about leaks.

Its well worth the few bucks to have it done.

Look here at the "project mayhem" thread.
