does anyone here with original paint not have paint swirls. i have a beautiful mirror like shine. the shine is unbelievable, but the paint swirls are ruining my day. if i glaze it it reduces them but not for very long day or two at the most. i use megiures profesional stuff. dont remember the numbers but they are in the light brown bottles.

From what ive read you need an eletric buffer and special compounds to get em out. But its a fight u cant win, cause if your paint is anything like my 03's, right after u wash the damn thing they are all back anyways.

I used a portercable buffer and meguairs #83 on mine. It got some of them out but in the sun it kills me to look at it. My paint could be shot. They make a sander of some type that you can use to buff but can also burn the paint with.

You could try some meguiars scratchX and see if that works.

Swirls are very easy to put in your paint, especially if you have a dark color. Just washing the car can add several swirls if you arent careful. I use Zaino polish/wax and it seems to do a very good job at eliminating the swirls.

Oooh, me me, no swirls here . Took a long time and many sessions of buffing before they went away. I use 3M swirl remover for dark cars every year and it pretty much fixes it.

A porter cable 7424 with a cutting pad and some Poorboys world SSR2.5 willl remove the swirls with no problem. Then top it off with a good wax/sealent.
