I like having access to a booth

before

During

After! back together

It still runs like poo, but at least its shiny. I still have to colorsand and buff it. Got some dirts and some texture that will come out with a little sanding. It is a Honda color. NH700M Alabaster Silver. Much nicer looking than "dated 90s reject" WJ . So sue me, I hated the milky blue look the stocker silver had.

That's really nice! I like the black wing. It flows well with the black lower valance.

I agree - I love silver cars, and I especially like that silver.

very nice, how hard is it to do the sanding of the car and prep work before paint yourself? I cant paint it myself but in the next few years Id like to get mine re painted.

Where did you get your tail lights? I have the horizontal tail lights and I haven't been able to find the vertical ones for a 94.

It requires practice but it's really more tedious than difficult. Mine isn't perfect either, i noticed i missed some scratches today while I had it in the sun. DOH! The sanding is easy enough but you should learn the proper way to do it and the other steps that are involved. Hey, take a class at the local community college and learn the basics if you want to give it a shot. Thats how I started in this industry 10 years ago.

I've done this before, and I had all the equipment at work to do it properly and I still have just over 30 hours invested into this job. Thats of actual work too from starting to take it apart to finishing the reassembly. I still have to color sand and buff the car too, so that will be another 2 hours or so.

The junkyard . they are off of a 96. Take the whole assembly and the short harness on the back that has the bulb sockets. It has a disconnect on the rear body panel that is around a foot long. Other than that, throw them on! The plastic body color bezel comes off as well for easy repainting. Not like the 94/95 ones that is one piece with the lens.

Are there any good how to books out there? With work and everything I dont think Id have any time for any class's. I would have a friend whos a body shop manager do the painting part but if I can knock the total price down some by doing the sanding down that would be nice.

I feel weird even thinking this . . . but I almost like it with the satin look before the clear. It has a cool sheen to it. Anyways, it looks great and I also like the black spoiler.

Nice work! I wish I had the means (or the skill) to paint my ride myself.
