Going to sell the stock 3.31 gears and differential it is not a posi and the muffler w/ stainless tip. Looking to get $200 for everthing shipped. The 05 4.0 muffler would make a stock 3.8 sound better and anybody needing new rear end here is a set of 3.31 with only 3000 miles on them they look brand new. The diff and gears will fit any 7.5 from like 1980 forward and would be an upgarde for anyone running a 7.5 rear end. Don't pass the up if your interested and don't want to spend $200 pm me we will talk. If you only want the rear end setup or if you only want the muffler pm me. Taking all offers into consideration. I am figuring the muffler is worth $20 and the rear end gears and diff $150 and considering shipping is $30. If shipping is more I am eating it. If you want them seperate the muffler $35 Shipped and the gears and diff $175.00 shipped. I know it cost $50 to ship gears/diff so any way it's a good deal and new gears would cost you more than this gear and diff. shipped.

I don't have gears on my car right now... and really didn't want to get any, sice they are a little to tall for my taste. (3.73 & 4.10) But are these gears taller (bigger) than the stock 2001 V6? I might concider it. I just bought a cam and rotating assembly for my car not to long ago and i'm short on spending money right now, but give me some more info on the gears and i'll let you know. BTW this should be in you regions classified forum, not V6 talk. Good try for marketing them though.

My understanding is that stock V6 mustangs have 3.08 gears and there are some that have 3.27's. These gears are taller as you put it. It would make some minor difference if you have the 3.08's and if you have 3.27's there would be not real difference. It would prolly affect your mileage by 3-4 mph on the hwy if you have 3.08 and about 1 if you have 3.27. Increase in rpm for the 3.08 to 3.31 at 70 would be 100-200 and if you had 3.27 stock maybe 50 rpm increase. Hope that all makes sense. If you still have the stock single muffler the muffler of my car would make your sound a little better also. The stock muffler is not really even broke in I had a 50 series flowmaster installed at 525 miles.

I good as far as exhaust goes and everything. Let me find out what gear ratio I have and i'll let you know. If I have the 3.08 i'll do it, but if I have the 3.27, i'd rather not, since they won't make much of a difference.
