I think you need to disregard the p-chop and find other cars with the xenon front clip and RR hood. I think he just added the second lip to your stock hood, instead of taking a RR hood off of another picture and putting it on yours. The reflection is still on the RR hood.

Look at the RR hood on the black cobra. The second lip is much rounder and I think it will look . That hood is growing on me.

Thanks Scott.

It is also growing on me, after always saying I would get the SVO Scoop one.
The S/H is way too much on those, and as mentioned above, I can pick up an RR hood right at Steeda, w/0 the shipping, and they usually give us local guys a discount.
Thanks again.

Mine's not the RR...It's a Regular R straight from the Ford dealer...No shipping from the dealer. I believe Cervinis wanted $110 shipping. I've seen mine right next to a car with the cervinis hood and the cervinis hood is a bit more angular.

Rob if you get the SVO hood...get the one from Kaenan. The other ones I see advertised, the scoop is almost flat on top, Karnan is rounded.

Rob I paid like $450 for mine wholesale from the dealer. I forgot what cervinis wanted but what I paid was way cheaper than the cervinis total. Yes it shuts fine with no problems, it's the exact same hood the real Cobra R runs and I don't have any trouble with it shutting. I have heard the people have trouble painting the ford hoods...about two weeks after I got mine painted some pinholes appeared and I had to take it back and have them redo it, and I've heard the same from other people with this hood. It's very light too...Once I get my camera back I can get pics of the inner structure, or lack thereof. The Striker is metal too.

How much was the paint job and who did it?

$450 seems like a lot for a hood (esp wholesale Price)

Paint job was $350...Yes I paid a lot to paint a hood lol. I'd imagine you could find someone to do it for around $200 or even cheaper if it's a home job. The underside of the Cervinis looks better imo.

I am not planning on getting it anyway until I have to paint the car again, so I would save $$ on that. I just thought the $450 was a lot for just the hood.

I have the Xenon Kit and a slighltly taller cowl hood, but ignoring my lights and such, you can see that the hood goes well with the kit.

Well, the lights are a bit "ricey" for my taste, but with a lower cowl, that hood does look ok with the kit.

BTW...where are your horses?

Nice, Snake!

Nickm:
I thought I might like that hood, but it may be too much with my kit...I always liked Oink's and Low's setups!

It's YOUR hood:

And Rio's Too!!

I look at it like this: Your Cobra bumpers are more "roundish" than my Xenon bumper, but yet your hood and bumper go together, so why not that hood with my bumper, seeing that my bumper is more "angular" than yours.

How bout it?

I thought I was looking at my car for a minute! Very nice!

RC, have you thought about going with the Cervini's single rise hood that Eades has? The more I see it, the more I like it. If I switch hoods for some reason, thats what I'll probably go with.

i think the SVO hood would look better with the zenon kit.

RC, wait for a big ford car show and wait for the hood to come to you. no shipping and usually can get them for less. or don't they do that in Florida.
