I don't think it matters. I believe that my Mac's fit 96-04. The shape of the exhaust port is different on the PI head but it didn't matter for the headers.
i'm guessing that you're doing the headswap and you have pre99+ headers. i mean why else would you ask. just look up the company you need to and see if the application fits 96-2004.
