A couple more recent pics:

Another shot of the seats from the top

My hood struts to replace that goofy prop rod

Since this engine shot was taken I have added a BBK CAI, a Chrome alternator cover and a few other additional goodies...

Pics of some of those additions soon

Hmm, not sure i like all the Mustang decals and wording and logos. My one gripe with ford is that they "whored" out the pony all over the place on the '99+ Mustang. The windshield alone has three pony's emblems on them. One day my friend and i went through the car and counted 33 Pony emblems on it. My '88 doesn't have a single Mustang pony anywhere on it at all.

But i understand it's your car so if you like it then just tell me to go to hell

Don't worry, I understand that by posting pics and asking for feedback I can get both those who may like it and those who may not. So I wouldn't say to you to go to hell, especially with an avatar image like you have

Thats ok Chefalan23, I think I will pass on seeing a larger version of your avatar.

Ok, so the other day I went back to the place that made my custom leather seat covers and set up to get a few more custom pieces made not just because of the upcoming big Mustang show this weekend but because I have been wanting these things done for awhile now and this seemed as good a time as any to try and get them done.

Part 1:

My Stang sitting in one of their bays getting certain things measured:

The place is called Cover Y Mas Cover (Covers and more Covers) and this next sequence of pics shows some of the things I had them create for my stang:

First two pieces:

New leather arm rest cover and leather e-brake handle wrap:

A little peak at the next piece:
The owner of Covers and more Covers creating the backer board:

The girls in the sewing room who actually sew and make the covers, be it seat covers or some other kind of cover:

This is the guy who does any of the custom embroidery. Thats my embroidered piece he just stitched (if you couldn't already tell):

They can crank out quite a lot of embroidered stuff with all of those machines:

Part 2:

This was their first attempt at my arm rest cover:

Obviously something got lost in the translation
So I drew out what I wanted and as you can see they nailed it on the second attempt:

Third pieces they worked on...
They took my somewhat worn stock floor mats and fixed them and created these:

Now they not only look new again but look great with the GT logo on them:

For some reason the mats don't seem to look as good in these pics as they do in person, maybe the lighting? but they not only look great but look factory.

Now back to the backer board. With the mounting holes drilled and the padded foam glued on the embroidered leather cover gets installed over the backer board:

...and now the final piece installed:

Thats it for now...

Today was the Mustang Madness 5 show that was held this year at the Arecibo Racetrack. It was a beautiful day and we got to see an lot of really nice stangs.
Here are a few pics of what my '01 looked like at the show:

Tomorrow we go to what should be an even bigger Mustang show in Corosal (near the center of the island) where it is said there is going to be over 7 large Mustang clubs from all over the island coming together and meeting at the show which could mean at least 2 to 3 hundred or more Mustangs all in one place

Ok, we just got back and all I can say is...."WOW!"
This has to be THE best Mustang or Ford related show I have ever been to.
I haven't heard what the final count of stangs was but I know not long after we arrived, being number 96 they passed two hundred and the Mustangs were still backed up waiting to come in and they just kept coming and coming with many more arriving for hours. There were over 7 different large Mustang Clubs that came together for the show plus quite a few smaller clubs and lots of individual Mustangs that were not in a club that came to the big show as well. It was literally a sea of Mustangs no matter what direction you looked. Everywhere you looked there were vintage Mustangs, Fox bodied Mustangs, late models, specialty Mustangs like Saleen's, Roush's, Shelby's, etc. Plus a few Hertz and other rare Mustangs and even a Cobra as well. And just when you thought you had seen them all you would then discover side sections to the show area where even more Mustangs had parked due to to the fact that there were just sooo many Mustangs. They simply started running out of places to put them all. It seemed as though the longer the day went there were Mustangs everywhere...

It was very sunny today and hot and I got a lot of sun while wandering around all day taking hundreds and hundreds of pictures of many of the sweet Mustangs today. There were just so mnay I just didn't have the time to get pics of them all. I will try and start posting some pics later this evening or sometime tomorrow.
So stay tuned....

Ok, here are the first batch of pics from the huge Mustang show today.
If you see a certain stang or two you would like to see another image or two of just ask and I may have taken some more pics of it.

Enjoy

The quality of cars down here in PR is equal to any cars anywhere and includes the thousands of Mustangs here.

Though I didn't get up in the stadium until very late in the afternoon and after quite a few Mustangs had already left these shots still look cool:

Even though I keep a car cover over my Mustang when it is parked in my driveway it obviously doesn't help when I am out and about in it, so I just had this made to help keep the heat out of the car and sun off my dash, seats, steering wheel, etc:
