read down where it says the flow rates. 200 stock and 250 cfm with a little porting....

Thanks for posting the 3V head pics PoXic
They look like good unrestrictive heads that will
get great cfm numbers because they look like they
will flow great on the new 3V Mustang GT.

I wonder if they will fit a 2v engine (npi&pi)? Anybody know how much work that it would take?

From what I read about the new 3v the complete heads as well as the timing chains and from cover need to be switched. Plus the ECM for the new variable valve timing as well.

Port out your 2v heads and add some big cams.

Adding new timing cover, chains plus a tune doesn't sound bad at all to me.. I mean ported 3V heads compete with the cobras easily.. and switching to 4V heads on a 2V just is silly

If you spend the same money on your 2v heads , you can easily compete with the Cobras. Going to 3v heads on a 2v engine sounds like the 4v head swap, it will be cheaper and easier to install a 4v engine than to do a head swap.

I just bought a '04 F-150 with the 3 valve 5.4............Runs great. Big difference over the 2 valve.......The 3 valves upped the horsepower from 225 to 300...........

HP was upped from 260 to 300........on the 5.4 the non PI 5.4 in 97-98 had 230...
