Who has "king of the strip" on espn? I am watching a CRX and a Z-car. The guy in the CRX was pinks all out. Anyway it SUCKS, HORRIBLE KNOCK OFF. PINKS IS THE GREATEST.

pinks is horrible. once you lose by 15 cars heads up, you have already lost. there should be no "give me 10 car lengths", because then it's not a race anymore, it's a handicap

Technically Pinks is like dial-in, making things fair so a 14 second car can fairly race a 10 second car. But personally I hate dial-in racing. The show isn't as much about the cars or the drivers skill......it's all about the negotiating skills.

Exactly. Bracket racing sucks. I don't watch the show for who wins, I just like watching people run their cars, especially when they're fast.

All I can say about this King of the Strip show is BORINGGGG

The host and hostess are totally clueless, have no enthusiasm at all...one of the cars could flip 10 times down the track and the girl would flatly say "Oh my, I think he may have crashed." to which the guy would flatly reply "Wow, I think you are right, lets bring in our expert drag racer Lisa Kubo and ask her what happened, because she was the first racer to have a front wheel drive car in the 7's, so she knows a bit about what can happen on the dragstrip"

Seems to me it's more about sandbagging and scumbaggery skills. Nobody running wants a fair race; it's all about laying in the weeds if you have the faster car.

The best of three format is retarded. They should just have a show with a series of 1 pass, heads up money races between a bunch of different cars at a different track every week or whatever. Run what you brung, and hope you brung enough. None of this stupid 3 race douche-baggery where every week some guy is going "I think your car is this much faster, but I can't tell because you lifted at half track, and never got out of first gear" crap. Granted, I've seen a few decent episodes, but most are kind of dumb.

Pinks would be such a better franchise if ran in the "all out" fashion. That is so much better than the regular show it isn't even funny. Speaking of funny I watched the episode where Rich duffs it on the crotch rocket the other day on tivo. And by watched it I mean that I rewound the part where he wrecks like 42 times and then promptly deleted the rest. What a TOOL.
