Let me check and see if I can find the part numbers I used, I have an 06 GT that HAD the factory shaker 500 and I put a Kenwood DDX-7019 touchscreen and navi into. And I didn't splice anything on mine, I always use harnesses. Let me check and I'll PM you if I find them.
thanks for the help i have another question i have seen where people say that there speakers pop when they put another head unit in so is there anything i can do or need to do to to fix the problem and also how can i bypass the cd player so it will play dvds while driving thanks
just ordered a kenwood kiv-700 a few minutes ago from crutchfield. i got the PAC C2R-FRD1 Ford Radio Replace Interface for $64 because i ordered the head unit from them as well, but it actually costs $125. but i think that is all you need. (i have an 06 gt with the shaker 500)
I was wondering about the regulator also, if you have this wiring harness do you still need the regulator? i don't think you do, but it's only a few bucks and i'd hate to not do it once i have everything out if it is going to pop.
