Hey guys I just recently installed lower control arms and shocks in my 00 GT. After I installed those I started to hear a rattle noise coming from the car. It sounds like a bunch of crap rattling around in the trunk. It only happens when you go over a hard bump in the road above 10 mph. I did put grease on the control arms when I installed them and it does not sound like it is a squiking noise. Also after I installed those parts I had to take my car in to get a new rear axle seal because grease was leaking out of it.. Could it be that? Thanks if anyone has any suggestions

Jack up the rear with the load off the axle, check for play in the suspension componenets. Check for loose nuts and bolts.

How many miles on the rear shocks? Perhaps they have failed.

Could just be a loose bolt perhaps?

Check the spare tire. make sure the bolts and all are tight. Also make sure your buddies didn't sabatoge you but putting marbles in the area for the spare. (hahaha we use to do that to each other drives you nuts until you find what makes that sound everytime your turn)
